Terms & Conditions

Instructors Nest (“we”, “us”) runs an online platform where students practise for IELTS with computer-based mock tests, teachers and institutions manage their students' practice, and teachers sell their own courses and packages to students. By creating an account, paying for a plan, buying mock tests or buying a course, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Refund Policy.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on your behalf.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• One account is for one person. Don't share your login — shared accounts may be suspended.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Teachers who create accounts for their students must have the student's permission and share the login details with them privately.

Student plans are a fixed monthly fee. Teacher accounts are free — teachers instead buy mock tests in bulk, as set out in the next section. Institution packages are priced by written agreement. All prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT).

• A plan runs for one month from the day we activate it and does not renew automatically.
• You pay by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank transfer and submit the transaction ID. We activate the plan after verifying the payment, normally within 24 hours.
• Paying again before your plan ends adds another month on top of the current one.
• We may change prices or plan limits. Changes never affect a month you have already paid for, and we announce price increases at least 15 days in advance.
• Any applicable VAT or government charges are included in the price shown unless stated otherwise.

A teacher account is free and has no monthly fee and no per-student fee. Teachers buy mock tests in bulk and spend one each time one of their students sits a test the teacher assigned.

• One mock test covers one sitting by one student. Free tests, premium tests and full mock tests all cost the same one test.
• The price per test falls as the quantity rises. The current quantity tiers are on our pricing page, and the price that applies is the one shown when you pay.
• Mock tests are added to your balance once we have verified your payment, normally within 24 hours.
• They do not expire, and they are used oldest first. Re-opening a test a student has already started does not use another one.
• A test is used the moment the student opens the assigned test, whether or not they finish it. If a student cannot finish because of a fault on our side, tell us and we will put the test back.
• Mock tests belong to the teacher's account. They cannot be transferred to another account, sold on, or exchanged for cash.
• When the balance reaches zero, students cannot start newly assigned tests until the teacher buys more. Results already recorded are unaffected.
• We may change the tiers or prices. A change never affects mock tests you have already bought, and we announce price increases at least 15 days in advance.

A teacher can put tests from our library into a package, then give it to their students or sell it. A package always has a length, and it opens the tests inside it for that length only.

• The package starts on the date the teacher sets, or on the day we verify your payment if you bought it. It ends after the number of days shown on the package — a 90-day package bought on 10 September ends on 9 December.
• While it is open you may sit each test inside it once. Listening and Reading are marked straight away; Writing is marked by your teacher.
• When the package ends, its tests stop opening. Your purchase, your answers, your results and your teacher's feedback all stay in your account.
• A teacher can take a package back — for example when a course ends or a student leaves. Anything you have already done stays in your account and remains visible to you.
• A package is for one student. It cannot be shared, transferred or resold.
• A sitting taken through a package is paid for out of the teacher's mock tests, not out of your own monthly allowance.

Writing and Speaking cannot be marked by a computer. Where a test includes them, your teacher reads your answer and gives you a band and written feedback.

• The band your teacher gives is their professional opinion, not an official IELTS result, and we do not change it or arbitrate it.
• How quickly marking comes back is up to your teacher. If a teacher stops marking work they promised to mark, tell us — it is a reason for us to suspend their account.
• A teacher may withdraw a review and replace it. You always see the latest one.
• Only your own teacher can see and mark your submissions.

Student plans have limits — practice tests per month, full mocks per month and whether premium tests are included. Limits reset on the first day of each calendar month. Unused allowance does not carry over and is not refundable.

Teacher accounts have no limit on students, batches or assignments; what a teacher can deliver is set by the mock tests they have bought.

A test a teacher assigns is paid for out of the teacher's mock tests and does not use the student's own monthly allowance.

Teachers and institutions on the platform are independent. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not supervise their teaching.

There are two different kinds of payment, and only one of them goes through us:

• Sold on our marketplace — a course or package listed on this website. The student pays us, we keep the part of the price that covers our own mock tests, and the teacher's fee goes to the teacher. These sales are covered by the section below and by our Refund Policy.
• Paid to the teacher directly — tuition, admission, exam registration, private classes or anything else arranged outside this website. That is an arrangement solely between the student (or parent) and the teacher, coaching centre or agency. We do not collect, hold, receive a share of, or guarantee that money, and we are not responsible for refunds, disputes, losses, fraud or broken promises about it, even if the teacher uses our platform.

• Teachers must not tell students that a fee they charge privately is required by Instructors Nest, or present our platform as their own official exam.
• Students should pay teachers only through channels they trust and keep receipts. Please report any teacher who misuses the platform — we may suspend their account.

Any teacher can open a free account and sell their own courses and packages here. You pay us nothing to set up, to teach, to manage students or to publish. You set the title, description, access period and content, and what you charge for your own teaching; we provide the shop, the payment handling, the student accounts and the mock test system.

The price of a package is two parts added together: our price for each test from our library that you put inside it, and your own fee on top. Both parts are shown to you before you publish. When a sale is verified we keep the first part and your fee is paid into your wallet in full. A package a student has bought costs you no mock tests of your own.

• Selling needs our approval. We review new teacher accounts, and every course and package, before it goes on sale. We can send a listing back for changes, take it down, or suspend a seller if the content is misleading, copied, unlawful or of poor quality.
• We take no commission on course sales at the time of writing: a course contains your own material, so you receive the full price the student paid. Our revenue comes from the mock tests — the ones teachers buy, and the test part of a package price. If we ever change a rate we will show it in your teacher console before you publish and announce it at least 15 days in advance, and it would only apply to sales made after that. A package already sold keeps the split it was sold at.
• Students pay us, not you. We collect the payment, check it, open the course or package for the student, and pay your share into your wallet. Every movement of that wallet is listed in your console with the balance either side of it.
• You can request a withdrawal once your wallet reaches the minimum shown in your console. Asking for one does not reduce your balance: the amount is set aside while we check it, and only leaves the wallet when we actually send the money. If we reject a request, nothing is deducted. We pay to the bKash, Nagad, Rocket or bank account on your profile, normally within 3 working days of approval, and we may hold a payout while an order is disputed or under investigation.
• You are responsible for delivering what you advertised — the lessons, classes, materials and feedback described in the listing — and for holding the rights to everything you upload. You keep ownership of your content and give us permission to show and deliver it to your students on the platform.
• You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. We may deduct any tax we are required by law to withhold.
• If we refund a student, the matching earning comes back out of your wallet. If your wallet cannot cover it, we may set it against future sales.

Our tests are practice material. Bands are estimates based on published conversion tables and are not official IELTS results. We do not guarantee any score in the real test.

• Copy, record, screenshot for distribution, sell or publish our test content or answer keys.
• Use bots, scripts or other tools to access the platform, or try to get around plan limits.
• Interfere with the platform's security or other users' accounts.
• Upload or send unlawful, abusive or misleading content.

We store your account details, test answers and results to run the service. If you belong to a teacher or institution, they can see your name, contact details, answers and results. We do not sell your personal data. We keep payment records as required by law.

You can ask us to correct your details, or to close your account and delete your data except records we must keep by law.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for fraud, or puts other users at risk. If we close an account for a breach, no refund is due for the remaining period. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

We work to keep the platform available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance is announced where possible.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost opportunities, visa or admission outcomes, or money paid to third parties, including teachers and agencies.

We may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top of this page and notify you of significant changes by email or on the website. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Disputes are subject to the courts of Dhaka.
